How It Works
Monthly Word Announcement
On the 1st of each month, we reveal the new word that will serve as the theme for all essay submissions.
Submission Period
Writers have until the 25th to craft and submit their essays. All submissions are reviewed for quality and relevance.
Community Voting
From the 26th to the 30th, our community votes for the most compelling, thought-provoking essay of the month.
Winner Announcement
The winning essay is featured in our Winners Gallery, and we announce the next month's word to start the cycle anew.
Submission Guidelines
Length Requirement
Essays must be one page or less (approximately 500 words maximum). Conciseness encourages focused, impactful writing.
Theme Relevance
Your essay must meaningfully explore the monthly word. Creative interpretations are encouraged, but the connection should be clear.
Critical Thinking
We value essays that demonstrate deep reflection, original insights, or unique perspectives on the human experience.
Original Work
All submissions must be your original, unpublished work. Plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification.
Deadline Compliance
Essays must be submitted by 11:59 PM on the 25th of each month. Late submissions cannot be accepted.
Respectful Content
Essays should be respectful and constructive. Hate speech, discrimination, or harmful content will not be tolerated.

How Voting Works
- Eligibility: Anyone can vote, but each person gets only one vote per month

- Timeline: Voting opens on the 26th and closes at midnight on the 30th
